Our history
Since 1927, Laboratoires Diétaroma have been sharing, through their products, the beneficial effects of Nature with as many people as possible. In our search for optimum quality, at Diétaroma we develop our products ourselves to guarantee you efficacious, concentrated, natural products.
In order to meet everyone’s expectations and desires, Diétaroma proposes a wide range of:

« My grandfather was always passionate about Nature. It was in 1927 that he began his extensive phyto-aromatherapy research work. Subsequently, he quite naturally started to treat the people in the village using his natural remedies. Little by little, the idea to create the laboratories came to him. DIETAROMA was born. His life could be summarised thus: to share the beneficial effects of Nature and of plants with as many people as possible. 1927, the beginning of the adventure
Louis Sevelinge, a Doctor of Pharmacy, botanist and precursor, started his phyto-aromatherapy research work. He highlighted the countless health benefits provided by Nature.
1950, the beginnings of the business …
Dr Sevelinge created Laboratoires PHYTAROMA which would become Laboratoires DIETAROMA. The results of his research gave birth to the 1st range of phyto-aromatherapy products. Some of his formulas were so successful that they still appear in our catalogue (Vinalège, Philaromal Probiotic, Actilège Digestion …).
1972, a passion passed on …
Michèle Chirol, Dr Sevelinge’s daughter and a real personality in the organic world, developed with her father numerous other speciality products intended for the first health food shops which were just appearing.
1998 … from generation to generation …
In 1998, Bénédicte Chirol took up the flame. Driven by the same passion as her mother and her grandfather, she worked to make organic food supplements better known to the general public.
Wishing to support the ORGANIC movement, she started the gradual conversion of the range while at the same time adding to it. Bénédicte Chirol was notably at the origin of the DIETAROMA ORGANIC care range.
2011… a new lease of life
Driven by a new operational team (in place since 2009) grouped together around the family and its original values, DIETAROMA is continuing its development. A new internet site is thus being set up, proposing more and more information and making it possible to make the whole of the DIETAROMA range accessible to as many people as possible.
